*Typical Single Person Valentine’s Day Blog Post*

Hey, it’s Valentine’s Day. Yay. For a single person, Valentine’s day can be awful. It sucks seeing all your friends who are in relationships being all lovey-dovey over each other. And even though you’re happy for them, you’re just sitting there like, “………..” But check it. Your singleness doesn’t define you. Not in the least.

Let me holla at my gentlemen for a second. We act like we don’t care that we’re single on Valentine’s Day. We laugh at our friends in relationships and say, “I save so much money on V-Day! I don’t have to buy anyone anything!” But deep down inside, we wish we had someone to buy things for. And it kinda sucks that we don’t. Can I tell you something? Your lack of a girlfriend means nothing when it comes to your worth. God made you and God don’t make no scrubs. You are no less of the man God made you to be just because you’re in a season of singleness right now.

Let me holla at my ladies for a little bit. V-Day can be really sucky. You see some of your friends with flowers and chocolate and you’re just over there like,”….welp.” Can I tell you something? Your lack of a boyfriend means nothing when it comes to your worth. God made you and in my humble opinion, women are the best idea God ever had. (Mad props to God on that one) You’re freaking beautiful and amazing and your lack of a relationship right now in no way diminishes that. Work that up-do gurl.

If you’re in a relationship and reading this, 1) Did you not read the title? 2) lol jk thanks for reading. But seriously, if you’re blessed enough to be in a relationship, recognize how blessed you are and don’t take it for granted. Ladies, be thankful for your man and the part he plays in your life. Gents, cherish your lady and be grateful for the fact she puts up with your scrubbiness.

That’s all I got. Eat lots of candy today. Go Dawgs.

Peace and blessings y’all.
